JSTS is a cycling club whose primary focus is on social rather than competitive riding.  We have road rides year-round, and mountain bike rides during the cooler months.  There are "leader led" as well as "route sheet" rides.

Outdoor group rides have resumed, and all participants are expected to abide by special riding guidelines in effect due to COVID-19. All rides are for MEMBERS ONLY, and those who fail to abide by these guidelines will be asked to immediately leave the ride. Check the ride calendar for scheduled rides.

It is that time of year when we elect our Executive Board of Directors for 2021. The Board consists of President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary and all positions are up for election. If you are interested in serving as one of the club executive officers please inform a member of the Election Committee by Oct 15.

Some cyclists think that lights are only needed to help you see when riding at night, but they are standard equipment in helping you "be seen" while on the road any time of day.  Low-power consumption / high-output LED lighting with rechargeable batteries makes it easy (and affordable) for everyone to have the proper lighting on their bike.

Make sure you charge your lights every time before heading out, as it isn't too bright to ride with a light that has a dead battery!
